USER AGREEMENT OMALAINA

  1. Introduction

When you use the omalaina.fi service (on the website www.omalaina.fi, by telephone, or in another way), either Sambla Group Oy or Sambla Group AB acts as the service provider:

  • If you use the consumer credit or credit card brokerage service, the service is offered by Sambla Group Oy.
  • If you use the brokerage service for insurance products, the service is provided by Sambla Group AB. Sambla Group AB has a cross-border license granted by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) to broker insurance products also on the Finnish market.

Below in these Terms of Use, ”Sambla” refers to either Sambla Group AB or Sambla Group Oy, depending on which Service you use as described above.

We offer consumer credit, credit card, and insurance brokerage services (hereinafter collectively referred to as the ”Services”). This means that we can broker credits, credit cards, and insurance for you. When you apply for a credit or a credit card through Sambla, you get the opportunity to compare offers from lenders and credit card issuers with whom we cooperate.

By using one of our Services, you agree that these Terms of Use apply to the relationship between you and Sambla. A potential co-applicant must also be aware of the content of these Terms of Use and must familiarize themselves with them carefully. It is important that both you and the potential co-applicant read these Terms of Use carefully to understand them.

When you use the brokerage service for insurance products, we provide you with more information about the insurance and its terms.

  1. Our Services

By using the Services, you authorize Sambla to request credit offers, credit card offers, and/or insurance offers from lenders, credit card issuers, and insurance companies with whom Sambla cooperates. If you request credit or credit card brokerage, Sambla gives you the opportunity to compare offers and terms. With your consent, Sambla can choose the most suitable one from the offers you receive if you do not make the choice yourself. Selecting or auto-selecting an offer does not automatically lead to the establishment of a credit or credit card agreement.

You never commit to accepting the credit, credit card, or insurance offers you receive. You can always decide for yourself in the end whether you want to sign a credit, credit card, or insurance agreement with the lender, credit card issuer, or insurance company.

Please note that Sambla can never give guarantees or promises or otherwise make commitments on behalf of our partners. The decision to grant credit, a credit card, or insurance is always made by the partner in question.

  1. Our compensation

The use of the Services is free of charge for you.

If you decide to enter into a credit or credit card agreement with one of our partners, we will receive compensation from them for having brokered the credit or credit card. Our brokerage fee may vary depending on which lender or credit card issuer you choose.

If you decide to take out an insurance agreement with one of our partners, we will receive a commission from them.

  1. Credit check and information requests

By providing information about yourself and possible co-applicant to Sambla, you confirm that the information provided is correct and that you have permission to provide the relevant information about your co-applicant. You also accept that Sambla can obtain information on whether a potential lender or credit card issuer has agreed to offer you credit or a credit card, as well as information on the status of your credit or credit card application from lenders or credit card issuers acting as our partners in accordance with these Terms of Use.

By using Sambla’s service, you also agree that Sambla Group Oy can check your credit information from the credit registers of Asiakastieto Oy and/or Dun & Bradstreet Finland Oy (formerly Bisnode) before Sambla Group Oy forwards your information to lenders or credit card issuers. Lenders or credit card issuers may also check your information from the Positive Credit Register maintained by the Finnish Tax Administration.

  1. Processing of personal data

In our privacy policy (available on our website), we explain how Sambla collects and processes your personal data in connection with the Services and in general, and what rights you have in relation to the processing of personal data. If you have any questions about the privacy policy, please contact us at asiakaspalvelu@omalaina.fi.

Take into account your own financial situation or your joint financial situation as a whole if you are applying for credit with a co-applicant. Sambla provides you with credit or credit card offers made by lenders or credit card issuers.  You must evaluate and check the information we provide about our partners’ offers before entering into an agreement.

Sambla itself neither grants credit, credit cards, or insurance itself, but only acts as a broker for credit, credit cards, and insurance from our partners. The agreements you sign with our partners apply to the relationship between you and the lender/credit card issuer/insurance company. Sambla is not liable for any damage or loss caused by you entering into or not entering into an agreement with one of our partners.
